Steve Jobs Dead at Age 56
Over a month ago Steve Jobs announced his resignation from Apple. Today, it is with much sadness that we learn that Steve Jobs has died at the age of 56.
Apple has placed the image at left on their homepage, eulogizing Steve Jobs.
In addition, the company has posted the image and statement below which reads:
“We are deeply saddened to announce that Steve Jobs passed away today. Steve’s brilliance, passion and energy were the source of countless innovations that enrich and improve all of our lives. The world is immeasurably better because of Steve. His greatest love was for his wife, Laurene, and his family. Our hearts go out to them and to all who were touched by his extraordinary gifts.”

So, as I’ve been hearing and reading all over the Internet – Steve Jobs has stepped down from his position of CEO of Apple to become ‘Chairman of the board’.
